Over the last 10 years Stephen Bayly and his colleagues have trained over 200 actors and directors in his version of Meisner technique. Former students in several countries have formed groups to continue practice and to work together on projects. La Peña Meisner de la Habana was the first of these, followed by Parche Meisner de Bogotá, and Chile 3 Chiles in Santiago. The groups run practice sessions in repetition and improvisation, and have mounted theatre productions and short films.
In January 2012 a number of actors and directors trained by Stephen Bayly and leaded by cuban actress Idalmis García founded La Peña Meisner de La Habana, with the objective of develop their skills and work together using the Meisner's techniques.

This group was founded in Santiago by Isabel Green in the Spring of 2016, to pick up on the continued Meisner work of former students Antonio Caro, Daniela Jofre and others who had been meeting regularly in a small group to practice Meinser repetition and improvisation.
